history

Yari is an only child, and would probably be considered a spoiled brat; her parents dote on her, and her Uncle Mel gives her absolutely everything she wants. Her Uncle Mel is insanely rich, and his little sister (Yari's mom) is his favorite relative. However, he hates Yari's dad, and since anything he gives to Mrs. Reginalt would also end up in the hands of Mr. Reginalt, he bypasses Yari's parents and gives her numerous gifts. Things like expensive cars, diamond necklaces, etc...Yari loves the attention but doesn't let it get to her. She has been friends with Alex for longer than she can remember; they used to be next door neighbors and their friendship didn't fade after Yari moved to another part of town. Yari lived a normal life despite the attentions of her uncle and she has a history of frightening her teachers by doing something strange in class, such as sitting under her desk and humming for the entire period. Or speaking in pig Latin.

personality

Yari isn't a spoiled brat, though she has every right to be. Most people don't even know that she got a BMW for her birthday. She's very friendly and can sometimes annoy people with her cheeryness. She also annoys her friends with her love of N'Sync and similar boy bands. She loves to argue with Alex, or watch old British sit-coms with Aubrey. However, she can lose her patience fairly easily if people don't see what's obvious to her.

appearance

Yari has short brown hair and brown eyes. She's of average height and doesn't bother wearing heels- she's usually seen in a pair of beat up sneakers or sandals. She's very lax about her appearance; despite the overwhelming amount of designer clothing in her wardrobe (courtesy of Uncle Mel), she prefers a t-shirt and jeans or capris.
